Departing Durban at 08h00 we head inland towards Kloof as we get used to the motorcycle.

We take a scenic ride up Botha’s Hill where we experience some cultural dancing while gazing across the tops of these historical mountains.

From here we take some awesome but tame dirt roads through the Valley of a Thousand Hills, taking in the views of the lush green mountains of Zululand.

After lunch, we visit Shakaskraal learning about the once famous Zulu Warrior, King Shaka.

From Shakaskraal we take the road down to the Indian ocean before heading South back to Durban along the coastline. (L)
